A year ago, SanDisk made a big song and dance about their e MP3 playerdue to its then remarkable 8GB of flash memory, which combined with an expansion slot would give up to 10GB of song storage goodness. Between the buttons is the hard-to-miss white control wheel. How can this be resolved. Now everyone else is catching up, and companies like iRiver are releasing flash-based players with the same high capacity and expansion slot combo.
The software included is solid and easy to use but I ripped and synched my enitre CD library with Windows Media Player 11 with equal and effortless success. We achieved about 15 hours playback using our standard MP3 files, which is about what we expected.

We’d still recommend upgrading the default headphones if possible, but those that prefer to stick with the pair included in the box won’t be too disappointed. The ones with it kept falling out of my ears. I would buy it again.
