Is my GFX card faulty? No soliciting of any kind. Seems like it was a strange glitch that wouldn’t be fixed by just switching the cables over, and would require a restart. I think it might be a dodgy cable after all. I’d like to think it’s more port-related possibly on the monitor itself? This includes asking for us to link to your subreddit, forum, bulletin board, newsgroup, Facebook page, whatever.

You may have damaged a port on the graphics card, or possibly damaged a cable or even the port on the monitor.

I had installed new keyboard drivers, but that was all. Keep all communication public, on the subreddit. Don’t ask us to compare or recommend products.

As I was writing this post Ok so I just unplugged my displayport again and the monitor started working fine, but after plugging the displayport back in, my main monitor isn’t being detected. I’d like to think it’s more port-related possibly on the monitor itself?
